Since 2012, CupCakeCup has been a staple in the Christmas vacation programming of NPO Zapp. In the show, eight baking duos aged 9 to 13 tie on their aprons in the battle for the coveted golden CupCakeCup. The participants receive several challenging tasks daily, testing their baking skills, creativity, taste, and ability to handle stress. Each week, two baking duos are eliminated. The four best duos give it their all in a thrilling finale with nerve-wracking tasks one last time to win and secure that golden trophy. CupCakeCup is hosted by Britt Dekker, assisted by master pastry chefs Robèrt van Beckhoven and Rémy Duker, along with various guest jurors.
